The Preventions Project

The Preventions Project is a joint collaboration between Aberystwyth University and Ceredigion Youth Justice and Prevention Service. Situated in mid-Wales, the initiative brings together academic expertise in statistical analysis and risk assessment with applied practical interventions with young people.

The Preventions team has delivered a range of high impact work packages, including the development of a bespoke pre-ASSET screening tool CYSTEM and critical interventions funded by The Home Office with young people at risk of becoming involved in Serious and Organised Crime (SOC).
